Scholarships

The Lueretha Dalton Scholarship is a $500 dollar allowance that is now infused with the history and legacy of Beyond Boundaries Global Leadership & STEM Academy. This wonderful scholarship helps a great STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) student in need and provides financial security to young and ambitious STEM talent. The Dalton’s dynamic family legacy exemplifies intelligence, grace, hard work, achievement, resiliency and fortitude. This scholarship calls for and chooses a deserving scholar who embodies those same characteristics whose purpose, like the Dalton family, is to excel no matter the obstacles placed against them. The allowance will definitely help STEM students who’ve earned the chance to prove their ability to do well in scientific and technical fields and this scholarship additionally helps a worthy student attend college with less financial barriers. Our third annual Dalton Scholarship will be awarded in August, 2022 and previous winners of this award are below. 

In addition to our collegiate scholarships, BBGLSA will be partnering with local businesses in our Hampton Roads community to assist in hosting a second annual Back to School Drive where we will be sponsoring two $150 scholarships to students in grades K-12. 

BBGLSA yearns to support students whose end goal is to succeed academically and professionally and we can't wait to continue our scholarship initiatives this year and beyond.
